1. Data Processing & Security

We adhere to a strict "Local First" processing policy:

• Spreadsheet Data: Your Excel data (cell contents, formulas, charts) is processed locally on your device whenever possible.
• AI Processing: For complex natural language queries requiring cloud inference (e.g., "Analyze this sales trend"), data snippets are transmitted via end-to-end encryption to our secure AI processing partners. This data is ephemeral: it is processed instantly and never stored on our servers.
• No Training: We do NOT use your customer data to train our AI models.

2. Information We Collect

We only store the minimum information required to manage your account:

• Account Info: Your email address and name (for authentication via Microsoft/Google).
• Usage Metrics: Anonymous statistics on feature usage (e.g., "Data Cleaning tool used 5 times") to improve the product.
• Subscription Status: Payment status (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card details).

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners and advertisers.

By installing the NowExcel add-in from Microsoft AppSource or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. License & Usage

NowExcel grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the add-in for your personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
• Share your Pro account credentials with multiple users.
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Free Plan: Provided "as-is" with limited operations per month.

Pro Plans: Billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of billing.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. NowExcel makes no warranties that the service will meet your specific requirements or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated changes to your spreadsheets before finalizing them.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NowExcel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.
